About 10 years ago I wrote a blog about how my experience of changing a 3 year old Ruby on a dirty toilet floor in a cafe and how the lack of appropriate changing facilities stopped us going out. This is why the changing room at Ruby’s has always been an essential part of the facilities to make the centre accessible and inclusive. In recent months our manual hoist has started to fail and so we reached out to Axis Foundation for a grant to purchase a tracking hoist. You can imagine how delighted we were when they agreed to help us. Please visit the blog on Axis’s website to find out more. Click here
