Ruby’s is an ideal venue for parties for children aged 0-5 years and for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our softplay and cafe area is the most popular area to host a party, but our Siblings room is also a great space for parties where you bring your own entertainment.

We have been privileged to be part of 100’s of children’s birthday parties in the past 10 years! This means we have lots of experience in having a party. So if it’s your first time organising a party and you feel a little unsure about what you are looking for then chat to us

FAQ How much does it cost to hire Ruby’s softplay and cafe area for a 2 hour party? Parties start from £137.50. You can then add on extras such as catering. A non- refundable deposit of £30 is required to secure your party date and time. We provide you with an invoice with T&C’s. Payment can be made in installments if preferred. (Please email us to discuss).

How much does it cost to hire the Siblings room? Prices start from £70 for 2 hours. If you want to use our small softplay or toys then there will be an additional charge. There is a kitchenette (no cooking facilities)and toilets in Sibs room. Please note the Sibs room is carpeted and we ask that you avoid serving food such as chocolate cake and jelly as it damages the carpet.

Can I bring my own food for the party? Yes, you can bring your own food or we can provide party meal boxes for £3.99ph. This can added on our booking system when you book the party.

Will the cafe be open? Yes if you can opt to have our cafe open at no extra charge or add on the self serve tea and coffee option instead. This can be added on our booking system when you book the party

What time can I access the room to set up for my party? 30 minutes before your party starts. You have a tidy up time of 30 minutes when the party ends to make sure you have everything before you leave.

Do I need to bring a tablecloth? We have large table cloths that will be on the party table, but you can always bring your own if there is a theme

Is there a limit to the number of children I can invite? We have small tables and chairs to comfortably sit 20 under 5’s. If you want to invite more children please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements. If you prefer a more relaxed party without the sit-down party table, we can set the room up with a buffet table for your food, and you can use the existing cafe layout for your party guests. The room limit is 70 people but it is very full then and advise the comfortable room capacity is 50 (adults & children).

Will the sensory garden be open? Yes if the weather permits and the staff on duty feel it is safe to open the garden

Will the sensory room be open? It can be an add-on to your party package and is £10 for the duration of your party. This can be added on our booking system when you book the party.

Can I decorate the room? Yes of course. We ask you use blue-tac and not sellotape or pins if putting up party banners as it is less likely to damage our paintwork or leave a mark on a window.
